Exploding Owl Box

I am excited to share with you today an exploding owl box that I made for my niece. She loves owls and I just learned how to make these boxes so I went ahead and made this for her for Christmas. I used the Gift Box Punch Board by We R Memory Keepers. The box size is 3.25x3.25x3.25, just follow the directions that come with the board for that size box. It is super easy. I made my own lid. The measurements for the lid are 6 1/4 by 6 1/4 paper scored at 1 1/2 on all sides. I used the Owl maker Stampin Up Punch to make all the owls and found the awesome sentiment online and printed it out and used my lacey squares spellbinders dies to cut them out. Tiddly Inks Christmas Holidays

Wow it has been too long since I have posted on my blog. I have been super busy but am back from my almost 2 month hiatus. I can not believe how close we are to Christmas. I have not even sent out my Christmas cards yet. I better get going on that and get them in mail on Monday. Today I have a card I made using a cute tiddly inks image. I just finished a card and wanted to get it posted before I hop into bed. I just LOVE this cute little dragon by Sylvia Zet of Wee Stamps called Autumn Happiness. He is the cutest thing ever!!! I was inspired to use the colors of the paper pad Happy Harvest by Doodlebug Design. I love the vibrant colors.

Humming Bird Pictures

Just wanted to share some pictures of some humming birds I took awhile back. I used a regular point and shoot camera but it did an amazing job capturing the humming birds. I love humming birds!!!

Make it Crafty Challenge

Today I am posting a Halloween scene I colored with two Make it Crafty images for the current MIC Challenge. I combined them to create a spooky scene. Not too happy with how the moon turned out. I over did it with stickles and glossy accents lol. It was fun coloring this up, but it took forever!!! I will eventually make it into a card. Had a relaxing weekend so I was happy to get some coloring in. Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend for those of you in the States!

Cricut Fathers Day Card

Just a quick post to show you the Father's Day card from this past June using the Campin Critters cartridge. I love how the skunk peeks out behind the tree. My Father is a real outdoors man so thought this would be cute to give to him. He liked it!

Tiddly Inks Fairies and Mermaids

I finally have a submission for the Fairies and Mermaids challenge over at the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog. I love this mermaid!!! Her name is Salty Kisses. Tiddly Ink Challenge #110

Anniversary Card for Hubby

Today I created a anniversary card for my hubby. It is a bit naughty but that of course is on purpose ;) The image is from Krista Smith. I inked her up using my copics. I will enter her in the current challenge "Love" at the Saturated Canary blog.

Saturated Canary Valentines Card

Happy Valentines Day!!! This is my valentines card to my hubby this year. We have been together for 15 years as of this valentines day but married for 10. I love him with all my heart and couldn't imagine life without him. Hope you all have a very happy valentines day too!!!!
